3D Names Head Coach for 40th William Jones Cup

The Defending Champions, 3D Global Sports Canada is proud to announce that University of Windsor Men’s Basketball Coach Chris Oliver has joined the 3D Global Sports Team coaching staff as the head coach for the upcoming 40th William Jones Cup.

"It is an honor to represent our country, and I am humbled to have this opportunity. I'm particularly excited to be asked to serve as head coach in a tournament as rich in tradition as the Jones Cup." - Chris Oliver

Oliver is the current head coach of the University of Windsor Men’s Basketball Program and most recently finished his 13th season with the program and brings over 20 years of coaching at the Canadian University level with stops at Queens, McMaster, and Victoria before his most recent tenure at the University of Windsor.

A three-time OUA Men's Basketball Coach of the Year, Coach Oliver has amassed an impressive record of 168-69 in conference play and has captured six OUA West regular season titles, two OUA West playoff titles, a Wilson Cup Ontario Championship, and earned three berths to the CIS National Championships.

3D Global Sports expects to announce the training camp, full roster and coaching staff for the 40th William Jones Cup in the coming weeks, leading to the tournament held in Taipei, Taiwan from July 14 to 22.
