Philippines National Team

The first game for 3D Canada Men's National Team in the 2017 William Jones Cup was against the defending champions, the Gilas Pilipinas, which is also known as the Philippines National Team. The Gilas Pilipinas many exhibition games before attending the Jones Cup and came well prepared. Fellow Canadian, 6'4 Matthew Wright, started for the Philippines National Team, alongside national superstars C Michael Myers, F Christian Standhardiner and PG Kiefer Ravena. Canada's Head Coach, Kyle Julius, made sure 3D came focused and game ready to kick of their inaugural William Jones Cup tournament.
