3D Names Head Coach, Albena Branzova, for Women's North American All-Stars Team

3D Global Sports is thrilled to announce their Head Coach, Albena Branzova-Dimitrova, who will lead the North American All-Stars team against for the Senior Women’s National Basketball Team of China.

The annual Sino-International Women's Basketball Challenge will be hosted by the CBA (Chinese Basketball Association) and Infront Sports. The event will host three games played in three cities, from May 28th to June 5th. In previous years, during this annual event, China has competed against the National Women’s A Team of: Canada, Serbia, Lithuania, Argentina, Senegal, Belarus, Australia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, and most recently in 2018: Belgium.

3D Head Coach, Branzova, who holds a PhD in Theory and Methodology of Physical Education and Sports Training, most recently served as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach for University of Quebec at Montreal, QC. Branzova also has years of experience as an assistant coach for:

  • U17 Canada National Women’s Team {2016-18} 
  • Women’s Basketball Francophones Games {2013}
  • Nova Southeastern University {2010}
  • U20 Bulgarian Women’s National Team {2007}

Coach Branzova's resume expands beyond coaching as she has counseled and instructed basketball programs worldwide with the NBA Maimi Heat, Dwayne Wade's Camps, as well as player development with Sopron Club in Hungary, a famous Euro-league powerhouse club.

As a player, Albena played in the WNBA with the New York Liberty and went on to create an extensive basketball career in Europe, representing her country as part of Bulgaria Senior Women's Basketball National Team.

Coach Branzova brings extensive basketball experience to the program and 3D looks forward to having her lead the North American All-Stars against Women's Team of China.

In the coming weeks, 3D will continue introducing the coaching staff and roster that will embark on the journey to play the Senior Women's National Basketball Team of China.
